For over 50 years, Mitsubishi has remained at the forefront of the mini split industry thanks to their dedication to providing efficient, user-friendly comfort solutions. This intelli-HEAT™ system is designed to add air conditioning to an existing furnace while replacing a traditional unitary air conditioner or be the solution when installing a new system. The PAA-A36BA1 cased coil fits directly onto your existing 17.5" furnace or air handler cabinet, allowing conditioned air to be circulated into your home. This system features an intelligent comfort control function that switches between heat pump and furnace to reduce gas usage. As part of Mitsubishi's commercial P-Series, the condenser is constructed with industrial-grade materials to ensure consistent performance in the harshest conditions, making this system ideal for critical applications that require constant conditioning.
  • Intelligent Comfort Control Function
  • The PAA-A coil automatically switches between an all-electric heat pump and an existing gas furnace to help reduce gas usage.
  • Precision Temperature Control Technology
  • The outdoor condenser is equipped with inverter technology and an electronic linear expansion valve. These components improve temperature accuracy and system efficiency through precise adjustments of both compressor speed and refrigerant flow.
  • Heat Exchanger
  • The intelli-HEAT™ coils come with an optimized heat exchanger that provides longevity and efficiency.
  • Kumo Cloud Compatible
  • Control every zone in your home from the palm of your hand. The Kumo Cloud App allows easy access and control with any smartphone or internet browser.
  • Multi-Position Installation
  • The intelli-HEAT™ coils can be installed horizontally (left or right) or vertically (up or down) using the included drain pan. The drain pan is crafted from high quality materials making it heat resistant and lowering moisture absorption.
  • Blue Fin Condenser
  • Condensers are constantly exposed to wind, dust and salty air that take their toll on your unit. Mitsubishi coats their condensers with an anti-rust coating to extend its lifespan.
  • Compatible Furnaces
  • Mitsubishi's intelli-HEAT™ systems are compatible with any thermostatically controlled NG or LP furnace that is ANSI-Z21.47/CSA2.3 certified.

    This product requires the following accessories for installation:
    • Line Set - This double insulated tubing transfers refrigerant efficiently between your outdoor condenser and indoor units.
    • Disconnect Box & Electrical Whip Kit - The Disconnect Box & Whip Kit provides a safe and simple way to connect your outdoor condenser to your fuse box.
    • Outdoor Condenser Plastic Pad or Wall Bracket - We recommend outdoor condensers should not be placed directly on the ground. An outdoor condenser pad or wall bracket will provide a stable way to mount your condenser free from obstructions and debris.
