Modine has developed a number of new technologiesto make the Effinity93 line a revolutionary step in the unit heater market, including condensing technology that allows the PTC55 to have an efficiency rating of 93% Thermal Efficiency. The PTC55 is a well engineered, complete package capable of heating large environments while simultaneously keeping heating bills as low as possible and requiring minimal maintenance.
  • Condensing Technology
  • Modine has adapted the condensing technology found in boilers to the Effinity93 line. The result is a clean, powerful unit heater that can reach efficiencies of up to 93 percent. This keeps heating bills as low as possible.
  • Conservicore Anti-Corrosion Technology
  • Modine's unique Conservicore technology prevents corrosion to the heat exchanger, ensuring that your unit heater investment will last as long as possible.
  • Electric Knockouts
  • Electric wiring knockouts and field wiring connections on the PTC55 keep installation costs low and save time during both installation and maintenance for your contractor by simplifing all required electrical work.
  • Permanently Lubricated Motor
  • The motor on the PTC55 has a permanent, long lasting lubricant straight from the factory. This means that the motor never has to be oiled, reducing maintenance costs, general wear and tear, and operational noise.
  • Power Venting System
  • The power venting system quickly and efficiently brings flue exhaust from the unit heater to the outdoors, and requires minimal installation labor. This keeps installation related costs as low as possible.
  • Aluminized Steel Heat Exchanger
  • The aluminized steel heat exchanger passes lower manufacturing costs along to the consumer, is incredibly durable and is protected by a full 10 year warranty by Modine.
