Capable of managing high air speeds and volumes effortlessly, the LH488HHV is an impressive solution to your home's heating and cooling needs. A wireless remote is conveniently included to make controlling your air handling system a breeze. The LH488HHV also features LGRED° Heat technology, which boasts superior heating performance in extreme cold weather climates.

  • LG's heat pump systems are designed with efficient inverter technology. An electronic expansion valve and a variable speed compressor carefully regulate the refrigerant flow, reducing energy consumption and allowing for consistent, accurate temperatures.
  • Gold Fin Protection
  • To ensure the reliability and longevity of the LUU480HHV's heat exchanger, LG employs a Gold Fin coating that prevents corrosion and improves durability.
  • Quiet Design
  • LG uses advanced components to ensure that their systems are as quiet as possible. In the LUU480HHV outdoor condenser, a twin rotary compressor reduces vibration to limit noise while both the outdoor and indoor units utilize brushless fan motors.
  • Condensate Protection
  • Condensate overflow can damage your indoor unit and your home. An internal condensate pump with 27.5" of lift and automatic overflow shutoff protects the LHN488HV through reliable, effective condensate removal.

    This product requires the following accessories for installation:Line Set - This double insulated tubing transfers refrigerant efficiently between your outdoor condenser and indoor units.Drain Tubing - Drain tubing facilitates the reliable and effective removal of condensate from your system. It connects your indoor units to drain locations of your choosing. We recommend locally purchased PVC hard pipe for the condensate drain on cassette and concealed duct units.Disconnect Box & Electrical Whip Kit - The Disconnect Box & Whip Kit provides a safe and simple way to connect your outdoor condenser to your fuse box.Connecting Wire - This durable, insulated wire provides power to your indoor units from your outdoor condenser.Base Pan Heater - The base pan heater prevents ice from building up on the outdoor unit. Excessive ice build will lead to performance issues and could damage your unit.Outdoor Condenser Plastic Pad or Wall Bracket - We recommend outdoor condensers should not be placed directly on the ground. An outdoor condenser pad or wall bracket will provide a stable way to mount your condenser free from obstructions and debris.Adding these accessories to your order will provide a complete, ready-to-install mini split system. LG products include a 10-year warranty with the requirement that installation is completed by a licensed contractor and that the product is registered at https://lg-dfs-warranty.com/ within 60 days of installation.All Mini Split Systems require one Primary Mini Split Installation Kit.
