The Caleffi DISCAL® air separator continuously removes air contained in hydronic heating and cooling systems. The special internal shape of the separator body allows for low head loss while removing air down to micro-bubble levels. The DISCAL® features anti-corrosion and turbulence resistant components to ensure your heating or cooling system runs effectively and efficiently.
  • Anti-Rotation & Anti-Vibration Float
  • The Caleffi DISCAL® creates space between the float and air vent wall to prevent float hang-up due to debris or variations in the separator's orientation.
  • Anti-Corrosion Coalescing Mesh
  • The DISCAL® is constructed with glass-filled nylon mesh, which is more resistant to dissolved oxygen and acidic fluids than plated metals.
  • Corrosion Resistant
  • With all components being 100% corrosion resistant, the DISCAL® ensures proper system effectiveness throughout the long-lasting life of the separator.
  • High Capacity
  • The DISCAL's® highly effective automatic air elimination is due in part to its large-diameter chamber. The chamber slows fluids dramatically, combining with a concentric, sharp-edged mesh design to cause micro-bubbles to collect and coalesce.
  • Stainless Steel Float Linkages
  • Featuring robust stainless steel float linkages, the DISCAL® keeps a reliable float alignment even during turbulent conditions.
