Watts Radiant ProMelt electric snow melting wire is a well engineered snow melting wire capable of many driveway heating applications. Able to be installed in a large variety of climates, ProMelt snow melting wire is a versatile and reliable snow melting solution. The heating wire itself is among the best in the industry, with high grade copper heating elements and insulation that is both corrosion and temperature resistant. The SC50240030HW wire roll is capable of withstanding extreme levels of jobsite punishment and can handle asphalt or concrete stemperatures of up to 300 degrees.

Product Features

Dual High-Grade Copper Heating Elements
The heating wire's heating element is made from high quality oxygen-free copper, giving the wire uncompromising heat transfer efficiency while retaining flexibility. The entire wire contains a pair of twisted heating elements which keeps the electromagnetic field generated by the wire to a minimum.

ETFE Wire Insulation with Grounding Jacket
The heating wire is enveloped in a durable ETFE insulation. This unique insulation offers significant resilience against chemical and temperature corrosion. The two wires are then bound together by a stainless steel jacket for grounding and durability purposes.

Single Power Lead
Both wires connect to the power supply with a single power lead, simplifying labor and reducing installation time.
