The HUGO Battery Backup provides up to 7 days of hot water during an outage, is easily installed and can act as a portable or permanent power source. The weather can't be controlled but with the Safeguard Power Source HUGO, you can have peace of mind that your family will stay comfortable.

  • The HUGO is designed with SMART technology that consistently ensures that the unit has clean power and a pure sine wave.

  • With a IP54 grade enclosure for all weather protection, the HUGO can be installed indoors or outdoors for your convenience.
  • Flow Sensor Included
  • The included Flow Sensor draws power off of the HUGO only when there is a demand for hot water. This feature will save on battery life and extend the usage of your tankless water heater.
  • Self Charging
  • The HUGO features a trickle charge to its 35Ah battery when its not in use. This ensures that the battery will have a full charge in the event of an outage.
  • Long Lasting
  • Designed to provide 5-13 hours of continuous use from your appliance or up to 7 days of hot water, the HUGO provides long lasting usage during an outage.
  • Protected
  • With a built-in fuse, the HUGO can protect downstream appliances from board burnout.
  • Reactive
  • The HUGO activates within eight minutes of an outage, providing you with almost instant backup.

  • Use the HUGO on the road to charge small electronics like your cell phone, tablets, laptops or even CPAP machines.
