The Modine name has become synonymous with quality unit heaters in millions of homes and workshops all across the world. Modine's BTX series brings Modine's engineering experience to large capacity unit heaters. The BTX is a well engineered unit heater capable of heating large areas with ease. Adjustable air deflector blades allow the owner to direct air to any point it needs to go, while the in-shot burner on each heat exchanger tube reduces startup and shut-off noise while maximizing reliability.
  • Tubular Heat Exchanger Design
  • The unique tubular heat exchanger design of the BTX provides efficient heat transfer from combusted fuel to surrounding air in a wide variety of conditions. This translates to lower heating costs and faster warm up time.
  • Blower Based Air Propulsion
  • The BTX uses a blower that allows for a range of air speed control and higher moveable air volume, as well as the ability to be integrated into a building's ductwork.
  • Aluminized Steel Heat Exchanger
  • The aluminized steel heat exchanger keeps costs low, is incredibly durable and is protected by a full 10 year warranty by Modine.
  • Ignition Controller
  • The ignition controller is designed with safety in mind and features built-in ignition attempt timers. This minimizes the chance of false starts as well as preventing unnecessary gas from being used during the ignition process.
  • Totally Enclosed Motor
  • The T.E motor on the BTX is an industrial motor that does not allow outside air to circulate though the interior of the motor, instead it's cooled by the blower.
  • Separated Combustion Venting System
  • The separated combustion venting system quickly and efficiently brings flue exhaust from the unit heater to the outdoors while providing the unit heater with outdoor air for combustion, keeping installation costs low while preserving indoor air quality.
  • Baked-On Polyester Paint
  • The BTX features a neutral colored baked-on polyester powder paint, providing excellent corrosion resistance and durability while blending in with a wide variety of environments.
  • Modine Installation
  • Installation by a professional installer is required by the manufacturer.
