An easy installation process and low sound levels mean that this system provides temperature control that doesn't disrupt your home. The well-rounded indoor units feature several convenient operation modes and each includes a wireless remote controller, making it easy for you to enjoy zoned comfort.
Enhanced Connectivity
LG's new R-32 mini split units require a 5-conductor cable (Not Included) instead of the standard 4-conductor, improving communication reliability and enabling a new leak detection feature.
Inverter Technology
LG's heat pump systems are designed with efficient inverter technology. An electronic expansion valve and a variable speed compressor carefully regulate the refrigerant flow, reducing energy consumption and allowing for consistent, accurate temperatures.
Built-In Wi-Fi
With built-in Wi-Fi, you have the ability to control your LG air conditioner with smart enabled devices. Simply download the SmartThinQ® app on your smart device to get started.

Air Flow Options
This unit gives you two options for automating air flow. In Swing Mode, the unit will rotate through all four air flow directions to ensure consistent comfort in every corner of your room.
Self-Cleaning Coil
These wall mounted units feature a self-cleaning heat exchanger coil that automatically removes dirt and moisture. This helps to prevent unpleasant odors and to combat the formation of mold.
Jet Temperature Control
Quickly get your zone comfortable with the Jet Heat and Jet Cool modes. With the press of a button, your system will temporarily adjust the set point and fan speed to provide rapid heating or cooling.
Automated Operation
Auto operation mode continually compares your zone's current and desired temperatures and uses that data to intelligently adjust the unit's fan speed and refrigerant flow to provide optimal comfort.
Sleep Mode
With the Sleep Mode and Timer functions, you can set this indoor unit to save energy at night. Sleep Mode will incrementally adjust temperature for an hour before the Timer function automatically deactivates the unit.
Dehumidify
LG's indoor units include a dehumidifying operation mode. In this mode, the unit's internal sensors monitor temperature and modify the set point and fan speed to remove moisture from the air.
Improved Air Quality
The LG wall mounted units use a dual filtration system to keep your air clean. A washable anti-fungal filter protects against dust and bacteria, while a 3M Micro Protection Filter captures microscopic irritants for pristine air quality.
Hot-Start
When the Hot-Start function is enabled, the indoor unit's fan will not engage until the outdoor condenser has had the opportunity to warm the indoor coil. This prevents the unit from blowing cold air during heating operations.
Recommended line set sizes for indoor unit connectivity:
KNUAB121A: 1/4" x 3/8" Line Set
KNMAB151A: 1/4" x 3/8" Line Set (Qty 3)
A branch box with a 3/8" x 3/4" line set connection is also required. Additional branch boxes and line sets may be required based on your configuration.
All LG branch boxes systems require a min of 16.4 feet of line set between the condenser and the branch box, from the branch box to the distribution box and from the distribution box to the indoor unit.

Line Set - This double insulated tubing transfers refrigerant efficiently between your outdoor condenser and indoor units.
Drain Tubing - Drain tubing facilitates the reliable and effective removal of condensate from your system. It connects your indoor units to drain locations of your choosing.
Disconnect Box & Electrical Whip Kit - The Disconnect Box & Whip Kit provides a safe and simple way to connect your outdoor condenser to your fuse box.
Connecting Wire - This durable, insulated wire provides power to your indoor units from your outdoor condenser.
Outdoor Condenser Plastic Pad or Wall Bracket - We recommend outdoor condensers should not be placed directly on the ground. An outdoor condenser pad or wall bracket will provide a stable way to mount your condenser free from obstructions and debris.
Adding these accessories to your order will provide a complete, ready-to-install mini split system. You will need a line set for each additional indoor unit.
LG products include a 10-year warranty with the requirement that installation is completed by a licensed contractor and that the product is registered at https://lg-dfs-warranty.com/ within 60 days of installation.
