Unobtrusive comfort isn't the only advantage of a ceiling cassette; with four air flow directions, the KSSCA481A provides excellent coverage for large zones. If you're looking for a low-profile alternative to wall mounted ductless heat pump systems, LG's Four-Way Ceiling Cassettes are a great choice. The KSSCA481A also features LGRED° Heat technology, which boasts superior heating performance in extreme cold weather climates.
Enhanced Connectivity
LG's new R-32 mini split units require a 5-conductor cable (Not Included) instead of the standard 4-conductor, improving communication reliability and enabling a new leak detection feature.
Inverter Technology
LG's heat pump systems are designed with efficient inverter technology. An electronic expansion valve and a variable speed compressor carefully regulate the refrigerant flow, reducing energy consumption and allowing for consistent, accurate temperatures.
Quiet Design
The KNSCB481A indoor unit features a cross flow fan that restricts the pressure of air flow and lowers sound levels. Both the outdoor and indoor units enjoy reduced electrical and mechanical sound thanks to their brushless direct current fan motors.
Integrated Base Pan Heater
The KUSXA481A Outdoor Condenser features a factory-installed base pan heater in the drain pan. This prevents condensate from freezing and damaging the unit in frigid climates.
Jet Cool
This system features a Jet Cool operation mode for rapid cooling. In this mode, the indoor unit will temporarily adjust the set point and fan speed for 30 minutes to quickly cool your zone.
Air Flow Options
The KNSCB481A offers two automated air flow options: Swing Mode and Swirl Wind mode. Any of these modes can be activated to provide optimal circulation specific to your home.
Gold Fin Protection
To ensure the reliability and longevity of the KUSXA481A's heat exchanger, LG employs a Gold Fin coating that prevents corrosion and improves durability.
Sleep Mode
With the Sleep Mode and Timer functions, you can set the indoor unit to save energy at night. Sleep Mode will incrementally adjust temperature for an hour before the Timer function automatically deactivates the unit.
Condensate Protection
Condensate overflow can damage your indoor unit and your home. An internal condensate pump with 27.5" of lift protects the KNSCB481A through reliable, effective condensate removal.
Dehumidify
LG's indoor units include a dehumidifying operation mode. In this mode, the unit's internal sensors monitor temperature and modify the set point and fan speed to remove moisture from the air.
Improved Air Quality
The KNSCB481A features an anti-fungal filter to keep your air clean. This filter captures contaminants like dust and bacteria, and it is washable to ensure long term air quality.

Connecting Wire - This durable, insulated wire provides power to your indoor units from your outdoor condenser.
Outdoor Condenser Plastic Pad or Wall Bracket - We recommend outdoor condensers should not be placed directly on the ground. An outdoor condenser pad or wall bracket will provide a stable way to mount your condenser free from obstructions and debris.
Adding these accessories to your order will provide a complete, ready-to-install mini split system. All Mini Split Systems require one Primary Mini Split Installation Kit.
