Overview for Fantech MUAS1200

Modern homes are being built more tightly than ever before and you can no longer rely on passive means to replace the air exhausted by bathroom fans, kitchen exhaust hoods, and other ventilation devices. The Fantech MUAS1200 Makeup air system is the perfect solution to bring in fresh air and protect your home from the consequences of low pressure. The MUAS uses the Fantech Makeup Air Controller to automatically detect the rate of exhaust air from your home and automatically adjust the air flow to maintain a safe and healthy pressure in your home.
  • Fantech Makeup Air Controller (FMAC)
  • The FMAC is a controller that allows the installer to select the appropriate pressure balance for your home. Once set, this controller will automatically adjust the air flow supply to match changing exhaust flows.
  • EC Motor
  • EC motors are some of the most efficient motors on the market. EC motors are not only more efficient, but also smaller and much quieter than standard AC motors. The EC motor in the MUAS750 can provide efficient, quiet, and effective air flow in your home.
  • Shut-off Damper
  • The MUAS1200 has a motorized damper that remains closed until needed. This motorized damper opens only when the makeup air system is running to keep unwanted air out of the home.
  • Filter Cassette
  • The MUAS1200 includes a MERV 8 filter cassette to ensure air you bring into your home is free from pollutants and contaminants. Replacing the filter is a snap, thanks to the easy access design.
  • Optional Duct Heater
  • An optional duct heater can be installed with the MUAS750 that heats the air as it enters your home. Set the desired temperature and enjoy the warm fresh air.
