Overview for Fantech FKD18XL

Featuring a galvanized steel housing, the Fantech FKD 18XL Mixed Flow Inline Duct Fan is a direct drive, mixed flow centrifugal duct fan designed especially for supply and exhaust applications where quiet performance and easy installation are important. Inline fans are installed directly in your duct work to provide powerful ventilation. This 208/460 volt model can produce a maximum airflow of up to 6,236 CFM. The FKD 18XL is constructed with a 18" round duct. Fan motors come with permanently lubricated sealed ball bearings. FKD Series Inline Fans are suitable for airstreams up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Mixed flow centrifugal fans combine the high air flows of axial fans with the high pressure, non-overloading characteristics of backward curved impellers.
  • Prewired Fan
  • For your convenience, this fan is prewired and ready to install out of the box.
  • 100% Speed Controllable
  • On-demand ventilation and precision balancing of systems is controllable through voltage reduction.
  • External Rotor Motor
  • An external rotor motor allows the fan to operate in high-moisture or dust-laden areas.
  • Thermal Overload Protection
  • Thermal overload protection automatically resets the fan when temperatures get too high, avoiding potential damage to the unit due to overheating.
