The Maxi-Therm indirect fired hot water heater from Crown is designed from the ground up to maximize longevity in every way possible. Both the tank and the internal coil are coated with a porcelain enamel, preventing corrosive materials in a home's water supply from reacting with the metals within the water heater. The tank also contains three sacrificial anode rods, reactive rods that descend into the tank and neutralize corrosives before they have a chance to damage your water heater. Combined with two inches of CFC-free foam insulation all around the tank, the Maxi-Therm is an ideal long term water heater solution.

  • Crown's Maxi-Therm heaters are lined with a two inch thick layer of insulation, keeping the water in your water heater hot for hours on end during standby periods.
  • Rugged Steel Tank
  • The outer shell of the Maxi-Therm tank is constructed from high grade steel, a material proven in thousands of installations to be durable and efficient.
  • Three Sacrificial Anode Rods
  • The Maxi-Therm water heater comes with three replaceable sacrificial anode rods, dramatically increasing the longevity of the water heater by removing corrosive materials before they can cause damage..
  • Porcelain Enamel Coated Coil
  • The coil on the inside of the Maxi-Therm water heater is coated with a porcelain enamel, working with the anode rods to prevent corrosion.
