Overview for Fantech FG4XLEC

Featuring a galvanized steel housing, the Fantech FG 4XL EC Centrifugal Inline Duct Fan is virtually airtight to allow peak performance in any application. Inline fans are installed directly in your duct work to provide powerful ventilation. This 120-volt model can produce a maximum airflow of up to 180 CFM. The FG 4XL EC is constructed with a 4" round duct. Fans include a bracket for mounting to a ceiling or wall. FG EC Series Inline Fans are rated for outdoor use. The FG 4XL EC is equipped with electronically commutated energy-efficient motor which uses up to 30% less energy than standard AC fans. Not only does energy-efficiency save on energy costs, but reduced heating during use increases the motor's lifespan and limits maintenance costs.
  • Thermal Overload Protection
  • Thermal overload protection automatically resets the fan when temperatures get too high, avoiding potential damage to the unit due to overheating.
  • Electronically Commutated Motor
  • The FG 4XL EC can be varied in speed to match your demand while using 30% less energy than traditional AC fans.
  • Backward Curved Impeller
  • Backward curved impeller blades allow particles to easily pass through the fan blades, preventing a build-up.
  • Speed Control
  • The FG 4XL EC's operation and speed can be controlled with the integrated potentiometer, a remote mounted potentiometer, an external 0-10Vdc signal, or through a Building Management System (BMS).
