Overview for LG LMDN186HVLG HVAC systems offer a range of solutions that are cost efficient, quiet and attractive. They provide a smart alternative to both central HVAC and window mounted air conditioners, and are available in a variety of configurations to suit different cooling and heating situations. An air conditioner's appearance is important. It is a feature in your home after all. So our new Ducted System range incorporates stylish design with functionality. The inverter technology delivers a wider range of temperature modes for heating and cooling, reaching the set temperature quickly and efficiently. So you and your family are comfortable sooner. This is an indoor unit only, and requires an outdoor unit to function. Outdoor unit must be purchased separately.
  • Quiet Design
  • The LMDN186HV can operate at volumes as low as 31 dB thanks to its advanced fan motor. The brushless direct current motor reduces electrical and mechanical sound while providing powerful air movement.
  • Automated Operation
  • Auto operation mode continually compares your zone's current and desired temperatures and uses that data to intelligently adjust the unit's fan speed and refrigerant flow to provide optimal comfort.
  • Sleep Mode
  • With the sleep mode and timer functions, you can set this indoor unit to save energy at night. Sleep mode will incrementally adjust temperature for an hour before the timer function automatically deactivates the unit.
  • Condensate Protection
  • Condensate overflow can damage your indoor unit and your home. An internal condensate pump with 27.5" of lift protects the LMDN186HV through reliable, effective condensate removal.
  • Dehumidify
  • LG's multi-zone indoor units include a dehumidifying operation mode. In this mode, the unit's internal sensors monitor temperature and modify the set point and fan speed to remove moisture from the air.
  • Improved Air Quality
  • The LMDN186HV features an anti-fungal filter to keep your air clean. This filter captures contaminants like dust and bacteria, and it is washable to ensure long term air quality.
  • Hot Start
  • When the hot start function is enabled, the LMDN186HV's fan will not engage until the outdoor condenser has had the opportunity to warm the indoor coil. This prevents the unit from blowing cold air during heating operations.

  • Disconnect Box & Electrical Whip Kit - The Disconnect Box & Whip Kit provides a safe and simple way to connect your outdoor condenser to your fuse box.
  • Connecting Wire - This durable, insulated wire provides power to your indoor units from your outdoor condenser.
  • Outdoor Condenser Plastic Pad (Optional) - This pad provides an even surface, free of debris, on which to place your outdoor condenser.
  • Wall Bracket (Optional) - A simple and sturdy way to mount your outdoor condenser off of the ground.
    • Adding these accessories to your order will provide a complete, ready-to-install mini split system.
