| The heater coil can be added to an air handler or package unit to heat the home when desired. Coils come completely preassembled and easily install into an air handler with an electrical clip-together wire harness. This heater kit is to be installed only in" ARUF, AEPF, GPC, GPH" Series of air handlers and package units manufactured by Goodman Manufacturing Company.
If installed in an air handler the line voltage is to be connected directly to the heater coil and it will operate both the heater coil and air handler. (A separate circuit is not needed for the air handler) If installed in a packaged air conditioner (GPC) or heat pump (GPH), a separate circuit will be required to operate the packaged unit an another circuit for the heater coil. One or two circuits will be required for the heater coil to be installed. ( depending on the heater coil size bring installed, see features below) |
